Arrival and Check-In
Onsite Check-In: August 1, 10 AM – 2 PM Former Ladies Camp on Shady Lane.
Orientation: August 1, 3 PM Classroom (Langar Hall).
The first official meal is dinner on Saturday, August 1. A sack lunch will be provided that day. Orientation and classes will begin on Saturday at 3 PM. The Immersion runs until the evening of August 28 so you will want to plan your departure for August 29 after Breakfast. It takes about 2 hours to get from the Albuquerque Airport to Espanola so schedule a flight that arrives before 11 AM. Be sure to arrive in Espanola by 1 PM allowing yourself time to register and go to your residence before orientation at 3 PM. Upon arrival please come to registration at the former “Ladies Camp on Shady Lane” – this is how the shuttle drivers know it. Everyone is required to check-in onsite at registration prior to attending orientation at 3 pm. If you arrange housing through KRI, your accommodations will be available from Friday night, July 31 before Orientation until the last Saturday morning, August 29. Some people plan to stay a day or two before or after to go sightseeing.
Please bring the following information with you to registration:
◼ Your driver’s license or another form of photo identification.
◼ A list of any prescription medications you may be taking.
◼ Your cell phone number.
◼ If driving, vehicle information including the year, make, model, color, license plate number and state.
Early Arrivals: Some people plan to arrive a day or two early in order to acclimate to the environment or to go sightseeing. If you chose to do this, you will organize with the housing management and pay them directly for any extra nights. You can reach the housing management at http://www.lyfrentals.com to book extra nights. If you arrive early, meals will be available for donation, suggested $11 each..
