Transportation

The Immersion is held at Hacienda de Guru Ram Das, located in Española, New Mexico. You are responsible for arranging your own arrival and departure shuttles.

If you must arrive before or after the scheduled arrival and/or departure days, please let the KRI office know in advance.

Flights

Albuquerque International Airport (ABQ) is the most common destination. There is a smaller, closer airport in Santa Fe but flights are usually more expensive.

Schedule an early flight. Your flight should arrive in Albuquerque before 12:00 Noon.

You can rent a vehicle or catch a shuttle to the Hacienda de Guru Ram Das parking lot (see shuttle information below)

If you arrive at the Albuquerque airport after the last shuttle departure time, you will need to make arrangements either to stay in Albuquerque overnight or find an alternative means of transportation to Española.

It is about a 2 hour drive from the Albuquerque Airport to the location of the course in Española

“Registration is between 10 am and 3pm on Saturday August 4th. Make sure to allow yourself time to register and go to your residence before orientation at 4 PM.

Schedule your return flight to leave Albuquerque after 11 am on Friday, August 31, so you have enough time for breakfast and the shuttle ride to the airport.”
